Serpent Knight General (Lord Veyrax) backstory: Born into a powerful border house, Lord Veyrax was raised among old ruins where serpent banners had once flown over forgotten stone fortresses. While other young nobles trained for tournaments and courtly honour, Veyrax studied ancient war maps, siege tactics, and the lost history of the Serpent Order.
He came to believe the modern kingdoms had grown weak: too proud, too divided, too obsessed with banners, bloodlines, and ceremony. To Veyrax, the serpent was not a symbol of evil — it was a symbol of patience, intelligence, and inevitable victory.
When he reached command, he rebuilt the Serpent Knights from scattered mercenaries, old noble families, and warriors who valued discipline over glory. Under his rule, the Serpent Order became a force that rarely fought fair, but almost always won.
The yellow serpent shield is now feared across the realm. It does not simply mean an army is coming.
It means the enemy has already been studied, surrounded, and weakened before the first sword is drawn. He became known as Lord Veyrax, the Fang of the Crown!
